Description:

The exports of mangoes, (cherry) tomatoes and green beans from Senegal have grown tremendously over the last 20 years, and especially the last 10 years by tripling exports. The Netherlands is the biggest importer for all products: beans (62%), tomatoes (41%) and mangoes (29%). A port-side cool logistics facility would enable efficient shortsea connections for less CO2 emissions, and synergy with import flows to Dakar.
