A National Logistics Project, Cool Port Addis is Ethiopia's central value chain facility for perishable import and export goods, located at Modjo Dry Port the country's principal inland terminal. Cool Port Addis offers a wide range of value chain services such as packing and grading to farmers of all sizes. Cool Port Addis is fully integrated in the Modjo Dry Port railway terminal and has a direct connection to the Addis-Djibouti railway line. 

Cool Port Addis will enable a competitive and sustainable supply chain to export markets via the Port of Djibouti. This has the potential to catalyse the development of a large-scale fruit and vegetabler export sector, starting with a smallholder-driven avocado industry.
